Pet-Friendly Apartments in Des Moines 

Carbon 550 happily welcomes your furry friend or pet! All pets must be in good health and treated for fleas to be considered acceptable to the property. Animals must be spayed or neutered to move in. 

 

An additional $35 monthly pet rent will be collected for each pet, other fees include: ​​

  • Cats:  $500 deposit for the first pet and $200 for the second.  

  • Kittens: under 1 year of age require an additional $250 deposit.  

  • Dogs:  $600 deposit for the first pet and $200 for the second. 

  • Puppies: under 1 year of age require an additional $400 deposit.  

  • Fish: no limit to size or number of fish in tank - tank cannot exceed 20 gallons

  • Birds: no limit to size or number of birds in cage  - must not exceed recommended cage size.

 

BREED RESTRICTIONS: American Bulldog, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Boston Terrier, Bull Mastiff, Bull Terrier, Cane Corso or Cane Corso Italiano, Caucasian Shepherd Dog, Chow Chow, Doberman or Doberman Pinscher, Dogo Argentino, English Bulldog, English Mastiff or Mastiff, French Bulldog, Great Dane, Neapolitan Mastiff, Olde English Bulldog, Pit Bull, Pressa Canarios, Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Wolf Hybrids (this does not include Huskies), and any dog that is mixed with any of the above breeds.
